Say hello to Connie! She is my new high frill collar lady, and believe it or not she has been one whole year in the making! Connie was one of my very first visions way back when my Made by Pansy venture began, and after many setbacks and obstacles she is finally ready to share with my world! She is my demure and classically beautiful girl!
Connie takes inspiration from many of my favourite vintage dresses, incorporating those vintage details we all love and she is heavily Laura Ashley inspired. Connie has the most gorgeous silhouette with a stunning super full swooshing skirt, beautiful full length sleeves which have puff at the shoulder head and double frill cuffs with a button closure, a gorgeous frill high collar, a flattering waist with attached side ties to cinch, and she also has floral lined POCKETS! Connie sits beautifully on the body and her skirt drapes like pure magic! She has a concealed zipper at her back and a beautiful squared neckline which is also low at her back.
She has been lovingly handcrafted in five metres of stunning super soft Oeko Tex standard cotton in a stunning cabbage rose floral with beautiful cotton broderie anglaise trims. While she is not true vintage, she has been crafted beautifully with a professional finish to truly replicate an original 1970s beauty, she truly is just as precious!
Our Made by Pansy line is in VERY limited supply and once we have used a fabric, we may never be able to recreate her again, all dresses are LIMITED EDITION. All dresses are MADE TO ORDER especially for you!
She can safely be washed on a short cool cycle at home and hung to dry and steam out her creases! While Connie may not be a true vintage dress, she is just as special, please treat her as such.
HOW TO ORDER!
When placing your order please choose your designated size from our size chart and add this into notes section when checking out. Connie is customisable in length and can be made in ANY length you desire. Please also add your desired length measurement in the notes section when checking out, either in Centimetres or Inches. A good way of knowing your ideal length is to check on a dress you already own. Simply measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. If you forget to do this please email us with your order number and chosen size and length measurement. We CANNOT start on your order until we have ALL of your details!
Please allow approx up to 4-6 weeks for your beautiful dress to be made (although this could be much sooner!). Once she is ready she will then be dispatched to you. This is SLOW fashion, please be patient while the magic is happening! If your beautiful dress is ready before the lead time, she will be shipped to you sooner! Trust me, Connie is ABSOLUTELY worth waiting for.
Our Made by Pansy dresses are beautifully handcrafted by a small team of creators in England. This means our manufacture process is as sustainable as possible for our system, with fair pay, low carbon emissions, meanwhile boosting our local economy and industry by supporting fellow indie creatives. This also means we aren't mass producing garments and having wastage! YAY!
