Life as a vintage lover is never complete without a Laura Ashley cotton prairie dress, and this beauty is the perfect one. She sadly has had her tags cut, but I can verify this is a late 70s Laura Ashley made in Carno Wales number. She is beautifully crafted in metres upon metres of the finest thick printed cotton, with the most beautiful cotton lace trims and panels. She has a beautiful cornflower blue base colour with white sprig floral print, and is perfect for styling in different ways throughout seasons. She has a high collar, beautiful sleeves with deep button cuffs and the fullest skirt with ruffle flounce. She has lived in my studio very peacefully, and is the perfect addition to the archive..

She has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be hand washed at home in cool water. She is in good vintage condition, like the majority of early Laura Ashley dresses, she does have some slight colour fade in places due to the dyes and printing methods used, her top shoulders are a little faded, but to me this is barely noticeable and does not detract, it only adds to the charm of these old and characterful dresses. She is priced very well due to be missing her tags and her minor flaws, usually these dresses retail well over £220.
This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
