Believe it or not, this is the first Anna Belinda I have ever offered for sale, they are truly rare and coveted pieces which are scarce and hard to find. Anna Belinda was a boutique in Oxford, England. Everything was beautifully crafted and many of her pieces were made to order and one of a kind, there is so much magic surrounding her brand. This dress came from a lady who bought her in the late 70s for a special occasion, and was left hung in a garment bag ever since.
This beauty is a really stunning example of an Anna Belinda piece, crafted with no expenses spared and one truly remarkable silhouette, with huge puff sleeves which have drawstring ties, a stunning and super flattering ruched bodice with braid trim and deep fixed waistband and a gorgeous super full skirt. She has elasticated shoulders which create a beautiful square neckline and beautiful fabric covered button closure down her back. Belinda really is an Heirloom, and absolutely is the Heirloom of todays edit. She is the perfect dress to acquire for super special occasions and is an absolute investment piece. The Belinda has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. Dry Clean Only. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear, like all raw silk, her fabric has natural slubs and other minor defects. This is normal and to be expected. She has one tiny sewn up mend to her skirt.
This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear.
