Meet Cornflower, she is an absolutely stunning and rare early 1970s Laura Ashley made in wales cotton prairie dream dress. This one is just divine, her colour is beautiful and seems as bright and crisp as it ever was, which is truly rare for Laura Ashley dresses. She has a stunning floral print, mutton sleeves with deep cuffs, pintuck detailing cotton crochet lace trims and a super full skirt with a deep flounce.. This beauty is simply divine, and a really precious piece. I hope she heads to the best home.

The Cornflower has been hand washed and is ready to wear, please dry clean only, due to the vibrancy of the colour, I wouldn't risk washing this beauty, as it may cause fade and the colour will bleed due to the dyes Laura Ashley used in her early days. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear, she has a couple of tiny fade spots in places and one slightly bigger yet light fade mark to her skirt, this is to be EXPECTED with vintage Laura Ashley due to the dyes and printing methods used. See last two photos, although these weren't taken in the best lighting.
