The Elsa

Meet Elsa, she is a beautiful soft icy blue shimmering and sparkling 70s lurex dreamie, she is also lined. Elsa is truly beautiful, she has a stunning silhouette with flowing cape like sleeves with button cuffs, a high collar and an empire waist. Her fabric is absolutely gorgeously floaty and sparkles so softly in the light, she absolutely is a beauty, pair with shimmering shoes and light up any room with all that shimmer!

This girl measures to approx UK size 8/10 could also possibly work on a UK 6 nicely.

Bust - up to 34"

Waist - 29" - 30" does sit high

Length -  59"

For reference our mannequin, Norma, measures to a UK 6.

The Elsa has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear, she does have some scattered small holes in her lurex, the larger ones have been mended, to be honest she is around 50 years old and on such a delicate fabric this is to be expected, she has probably seen many parties in her time, they do not detract and are barely noticeable, but they have been reflected in her price.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.

Here at Pansy we know vintage sizes are very different from modern sizes, and we pride ourselves on offering accurate measurements with approximate modern UK sizing to ensure a your Pansy purchases will be a good fit.
Although we do offer approx modern sizing it is also very helpful if you know your own measurements. If you are unsure of these, an easy way of estimating them is measuring one of your own garments, that fits well, laid flat. Measure in inches, across from pit to pit, flat across the waist and double both of these measurements.  Our length measurements are mostly taken from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.
