Meet Hellraiser, she is an epic HOLY GRAIL RARE early 70s Gina Fratini black cotton velvet dream dress, this is the RAREST and most PRECIOUS of them all! Fratini always always blows my mind with her creations, but this mutton sleeve dream dress is quite frankly something else, Gina was also know to be one of Princess Dianas go-to designers, and its clear to see why. Fun fact, somehow this is my SECOND version of this dress, her burgundy sister was part of the Heirlooms AW21 lineup (and she sold in a heartbeat), and I am mind blown that I am have been lucky enough to temporarily house. This beauty has the most insane sleeves ever, they are the best mutton sleeves I have ever seen and hold shape perfectly, beautiful shaped fitted bodice with sweetheart neckline and a full swooshing skirt with pockets. The quality of this dress is second to none, with metres and metres of beautiful plush darkest black velvet and she has been cut to perfection.
The craftsmanship and quality in this piece is honestly next level. She really is a true spectacle and absolutely a once in a lifetime purchase. She really is a piece of British fashion history and is a true Heirloom, and the most precious piece to come in my Heirlooms collection this year. I hope she finds the best home to live out her dramatic life, because of course, that's what Gina would've wanted..

The Hellraiser has been freshly cleaned and is ready to wear. DRY CLEAN ONLY. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. Label had to be resewn in after coming away, does not detract.
ALL vintage velvet comes with small signs of wear to the pile of the fabric. This is part of the charm.
