The Patch

Meet Patch, she is a gorgeous and truly rare 1970s cotton pinafore dream dress by Jake. Patch is beautiful, she has an amazing patchwork picnic blanket style novelty print which is perfect for those summers picnic days, a beautiful cut with button closure straps and a feature pocket at her chest. Patch could be worn with our without a blouse under, and has SO MANY styling possibilities. She is the epitome of a Pansy Picnic dress and is my absolute fave today! Novelty prints like this one are so so scarce, I can't wait to see where she is headed!

This girl measures to approx UK size 8/10

Bust - 33" - this is smaller than a usual bust measurement of this size, her arm holes are cut quite low and she has been tried on a UK size 10 and fit beautifully.

Waist - 28" - 29"

Length -  57.5"

The Patch has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. 

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.

Here at Pansy we know vintage sizes are very different from modern sizes, and we pride ourselves on offering accurate measurements with approximate modern UK sizing to ensure a your Pansy purchases will be a good fit.
Although we do offer approx modern sizing it is also very helpful if you know your own measurements. If you are unsure of these, an easy way of estimating them is measuring one of your own garments, that fits well, laid flat. Measure in inches, across from pit to pit, flat across the waist and double both of these measurements.  Our length measurements are mostly taken from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.
