Lyvia was originally released in February 2023 as part of our Romance collection, and was an immediate sell out hit! She is chic, romantic and truly a stunner.. One of those forever dresses that can be styled in so many ways and cherished..
Lyvia takes inspiration from several of my favourite vintage dresses, incorporating those vintage details we all love.. She has the most gorgeous silhouette with a stunning super full swooshing skirt, the sweetest puff sleeves with frill cuffs, a gorgeous frill bodice and a high waist with attached side ties to cinch!
Lyvia sits beautifully on the body with a fitted bodice and her full skirt drapes like pure magic! She is a comfortable and easy to wear shape, which is flattering for all body types and sizes. She has a concealed zipper at her back and a beautiful squared neckline which is also low at her back.
Lyvia is available to order in FOUR colour options to make your spring dreams come true! Each of the fabrics is 100% cotton and truly are a dream... While she is not true vintage, she has been crafted beautifully with a professional finish to truly replicate an original 1970s beauty, she truly is just as precious!
FABRIC NOTES
Mixed Blooms ~ 100% cotton poplin with lined bodice. Comes with pockets.
Green Rosebud ~ 100% cotton poplin with lined bodice. Comes with pockets.
Retro Daisy ~ 100% cotton poplin with lined bodice. Comes with pockets.
Black Broderie ~ 100% cotton broderie anglaise, lined bodice and half skirt, full skirt if mini length. NO pockets due to skirt lining, although pockets can be offered for an extra charge of £20. Contact after ordering.

Our Made by Pansy line is in VERY limited supply and once we have used a fabric, we may never be able to recreate her again, all dresses are LIMITED EDITION. All dresses are MADE TO ORDER especially for you!
She can safely be washed on a short cool cycle at home and hung to dry and steam or gently iron out her creases! While Lyvia may not be a true vintage dress, she is just as special, please treat her as such.
LYVIA IS FITTED ON THE BODICE, AND IF YOU ARE CONCERNED THE DRESS WILL BE ON THE SMALL SIDE AFTER LOOKING AT THE MEASUREMENTS, PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID TO SIZE UP. THIS WILL GIVE YOU MORE ROOM TO MOVE AND THE WAIST CAN BE CINCHED IN TO FIT. MANY CUSTOMERS HAVE OPTED FOR A BIGGER SIZE PREVIOUSLY!
HOW TO ORDER!
When placing your order please choose your selected size and approx length from the options, and then add your precise length measurement in the notes section at checkout in CMs or Inches, we will then replicate this for you to make your new MBP dream, even more of a dream! A good way of knowing your ideal length is to check on a dress you already own. Simply measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. If you forget to do this please email us with your order number and chosen size and length measurement. We CANNOT start on your order until we have ALL of your details!
ALL DRESSES ORDERED IN MINI LENGTH WILL HAVE THE SAME SMALL FRILL HEM FINISH AS MABEL, MIDI AND MAXI WILL HAVE VARYING FLOUNCE LENGTHS TO BALANCE OUT THE SKIRT.
Please allow approx up to 4-6 weeks for your beautiful dress to be made (although this could be much sooner!). Once she is ready she will then be dispatched to you. This is SLOW fashion, please be patient while the magic is happening! If your beautiful dress is ready before the lead time, she will be shipped to you sooner! Trust me, she is ABSOLUTELY worth waiting for, and is a timeless treasure to love forever and ever.
Our Made by Pansy dresses are beautifully handcrafted by a small team of creators in England. This means our manufacture process is as sustainable as possible for our system, with fair pay, low carbon emissions, meanwhile boosting our local economy and industry by supporting fellow indie creatives. This also means we aren't mass producing garments and having wastage! YAY!
