The Cali

Meet Cali, she is a stunning 70s cotton prairie beauty by California. I ADORE this one, and I am always hunting out versions of this dress, its that stunning silhouette with those chunky cotton lace trims. She has puff sleeves, a square neckline, empire waist with sheer lace panel and a flowing skirt with flounce. She has an off white base tone with a delicate blue floral print and is an absolute summers dream..

This girl measures to approx UK size 12 would also work nicely on a busty 10

The Cali has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. She has slight colour transfer under both arms and a stain to her lace on her neckline, but to be honest it is barely noticeable, I only noticed it when I dressed the mannequin. This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.

Here at Pansy we know vintage sizes are very different from modern sizes, and we pride ourselves on offering accurate measurements with approximate modern UK sizing to ensure a your Pansy purchases will be a good fit.
Although we do offer approx modern sizing it is also very helpful if you know your own measurements. If you are unsure of these, an easy way of estimating them is measuring one of your own garments, that fits well, laid flat. Measure in inches, across from pit to pit, flat across the waist and double both of these measurements.  Our length measurements are mostly taken from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.
