Charlotte was the first ever dress designed and released under the MBP label in 2022, and was the dress that started it all. Charlotte has been one of my most loved shapes, and each and every Charlotte owner is a loving one.. I am delighted to be bringing her back for you this season! She is our soft, graceful, romantic and delicate dream dress!
Charlotte takes inspiration from several of my favourite vintage dresses, incorporating those vintage details we all love.. She has the most gorgeous silhouette with a stunning working button front bodice with low neckline, fitted bodice with high waist line, and a super full skirt with attached side ties to cinch the waist! She has been sampled with full length sleeves but can be ordered with mid length or short puff sleeves if preferred, please contact after ordering to discuss this.
Charlotte sits beautifully on the body with a fitted bodice and her full skirt drapes like pure magic! She is flattering for all body types and sizes. She has a concealed zipper at her back.
Please see colour options sheet for a visual representation of each colourway. Her body is made from 100% cotton needlecord with 100% cotton floral trims and she is a dream come true to wear! You can also order your colour way in reverse, select your colour option and comment 'reverse' in the notes section at checkout! Please note buttons and button loops will always been in the floral print.
Our Made by Pansy line is in VERY limited supply and once we have used a fabric, we may never be able to recreate her again, all dresses are LIMITED EDITION. All dresses are MADE TO ORDER especially for you!
She can safely be washed on a short cool cycle at home and hung to dry and steam or gently iron out her creases! Whilst Charlotte may not be a true vintage dress, she is just as special, please treat her as such.
HOW TO ORDER!
When placing your order please choose your selected colour way, size and approx length from the options, and then add your precise length measurement from the drop down box, we will then replicate this for you to make your new MBP dream, even more of a dream! A good way of knowing your ideal length is to check on a dress you already own. Simply measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. If you forget to do this please email us with your order number and chosen size and length measurement. We CANNOT start on your order until we have ALL of your details!
ALL DRESSES ORDERED IN MINI LENGTH WILL HAVE A SMALL FRILL HEM FINISH, MIDI AND MAXI WILL HAVE VARYING FLOUNCE LENGTHS TO BALANCE OUT THE SKIRT.
Please allow approx up to 6-8 weeks for your beautiful dress to be made (although this could be much sooner!). Once she is ready she will then be dispatched to you. This is SLOW fashion, please be patient while the magic is happening! If your beautiful dress is ready before the lead time, she will be shipped to you sooner! Trust me, she is ABSOLUTELY worth waiting for, and is a timeless treasure to love forever and ever.
Our Made by Pansy dresses are beautifully handcrafted by a small team of creators in England. This means our manufacture process is as sustainable as possible for our system, with fair pay, low carbon emissions, meanwhile boosting our local economy and industry by supporting fellow indie creatives. This also means we aren't mass producing garments and having wastage! YAY!
