The Connie

Meet Connie, she is an absolutely AMAZING and HOLY GRAIL rare natural raw cotton beauty by fantastic and coveted label of the time Snob. Connie is literally gorgeous and such an amazing 70s prairie dress! She has an shirred stretchy bodice, beagle style collar, cute puff sleeves with shirred cuffs, sweet lace trims and a button down front with placket. Her fabric is that beautiful textured cotton we all love which is perfect for the warmer weather. Beauties like Connie really are rare and hardly ever come up for sale, I cannot wait to see where she is headed today!

This girl measures to approx UK size 6/8 but could possibly work on a small busted 10 too.

Bust - up to 34"

Waist - 28"

Length -  57"

For reference our mannequin, Norma, measures to a UK 6.

The Connie has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear including some wear to her buttons, especially the lower two, some of the colour has scraped off but this is minor and does not detract, easily replaced if you wished.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.

Here at Pansy we know vintage sizes are very different from modern sizes, and we pride ourselves on offering accurate measurements with approximate modern UK sizing to ensure a your Pansy purchases will be a good fit.
Although we do offer approx modern sizing it is also very helpful if you know your own measurements. If you are unsure of these, an easy way of estimating them is measuring one of your own garments, that fits well, laid flat. Measure in inches, across from pit to pit, flat across the waist and double both of these measurements.  Our length measurements are mostly taken from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.
