The Groovy Forever

The Groovy Forever, she is a stunning SUPER RARE handmade 70s funky retro printed 70s dream. She is handmade and has no composition labels but feels like a stunning soft quality moss crepe, which was absolutely a luxury fabric during the 70s.

Groovy Forever is literally the most amazing printed prairie dress I have ever seen. She has the most outstanding print, with zig zags and bold flowers in the most amazing colour palette. She has a shirred bodice, voluminous sleeves with frill cuffs and shirred shoulders and a beautiful frilled pie crust collar. This girl is literally all kinds of wow, and absolutely an extremely special piece. She is truly one of a kind and one of the best dresses I have had the pleasure of sharing with you, I truly hope she finds the home she deserves.

This girl measures to approx UK size 10/12, could possibly stretch to a 14 too, see measurements below.

Bust - up to 38" - elasticated due to smocking

Waist - up to 38" - elasticated due to smocking

Length -  54.5"

For reference our mannequin, Norma, measures to a UK 6.

Groovy Forever has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. Please DO NOT attempt to wash or soak at home. Dry clean or spot clean only. She is in good vintage condition, she has some minor signs of wear which are absolutely to be expected with Moss Crepe fabric, these are very insignificant, NOTHING could detract from this beauty.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.

Here at Pansy we know vintage sizes are very different from modern sizes, and we pride ourselves on offering accurate measurements with approximate modern UK sizing to ensure a your Pansy purchases will be a good fit.
Although we do offer approx modern sizing it is also very helpful if you know your own measurements. If you are unsure of these, an easy way of estimating them is measuring one of your own garments, that fits well, laid flat. Measure in inches, across from pit to pit, flat across the waist and double both of these measurements.  Our length measurements are mostly taken from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.
