The Baroque

The Baroque, she is an absolutely OUTSTANDING and RARE dream prairie dress by rare british boutique label Tradis. She is made from cotton and is lined in cotton, creating the most stunning and dramatic, full silhouette.

is absolutely the Belle of the Ball in today's drop, one of the rarest and most special dresses I have ever ever sourced. I don't even know where to begin with this beauty... She has the most amazing and truly magical silhouette, with full sweeping skirt, voluminous full sleeves with ruffle feature and gorgeous frilly high neck. I adore the details on this beauty, she has the most incredible ruched bodice, with button closures right down her front, ruched panels down her back and a ruched panel on her skirt. It truly is gorgeous. Her print is so so unusual, almost like a baroque style print, in an array of colours on a peachy base.

This beauty is an absolute dream dress and a true investment collectors piece. In all of my years, I have never came across such a sunning dream beauty. I cannot wait to see where she carries on her life...

This girl measures to approx UK size 10/12. Could also work on a UK 8 too, with a looser cut.

Bust - 36"

Waist - 32"

Length -  58"

For reference our mannequin, Norma, measures to a UK 6.

Baroque has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a 30 degree setting. She is in good vintage condition.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.

Here at Pansy we know vintage sizes are very different from modern sizes, and we pride ourselves on offering accurate measurements with approximate modern UK sizing to ensure a your Pansy purchases will be a good fit.
Although we do offer approx modern sizing it is also very helpful if you know your own measurements. If you are unsure of these, an easy way of estimating them is measuring one of your own garments, that fits well, laid flat. Measure in inches, across from pit to pit, flat across the waist and double both of these measurements.  Our length measurements are mostly taken from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.
