Meet Violet, she is a RARE and very desirable early Laura Ashley made in Wales cotton prairie dream, circa late 1960s early 1970s. She is truly something special, with an unusual geometric style print, classic prairie silhouette with pintuck bodice, voluminous sleeves with button cuffs, high neck and outstanding super full skirt. Her colour is gorgeous with contrasting shades of lilac and purple, and she has the classic LA cotton lace trims to her neckline and cuffs. She also comes with her original waist belt which is a rarity in its own. This beauty is a dream, she is one of my favourite Laura Ashley's I have found to date, there is something so magical about these dresses and they are absolutely investment pieces. I cannot wait to see where she lives out her next chapter.

Violet has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she does have some signs of wear which is totally to be expected with early Laura Ashley dresses due to the dyes used in the hand printing method. This particular dress has some slight fading in places and slight underarm discolouration, which is not noticeable at all. Her belt is faded in places but again this is very minor and does not detract. See last two photos for more. Overall, she is in very good condition and a great price for such a rare piece.
This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
