The Wildflower

Meet Wildflower, she is an absolutely stunning SUPER RARE 1970s dream dress by my favourite designer of the period Gina Fratini. She is beautifully crafted in liberty cotton and is adorned in the sweetest lace trims. Like all Gina Fratini dresses, she has been crafted with no expenses spared and is truly a forever dress. Her print is like a field of dreamy wild flowers on a cream coloured base and she truly is spring in a dress. Her silhouette is pure magic, with stunning puff sleeves, a high collar, a nipped in waist and a super full skirt. This is absolutely one of my best dresses of the season and I just know wherever she is headed she will be loved, and I can't wait to see her living her best life!

This girl measures to approx UK size 8/10

Bust - up to 36"

Waist - 32" - can be cinched with side ties

Length -  55"

For reference our mannequin, Norma, measures to a UK 6.

The Wildflower has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. She has one tiny sealed up hole to the side of her bodice under the arm, this is tiny and unnoticeable, see last photo for more. This has been taken into consideration regarding her price.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.

Here at Pansy we know vintage sizes are very different from modern sizes, and we pride ourselves on offering accurate measurements with approximate modern UK sizing to ensure a your Pansy purchases will be a good fit.
Although we do offer approx modern sizing it is also very helpful if you know your own measurements. If you are unsure of these, an easy way of estimating them is measuring one of your own garments, that fits well, laid flat. Measure in inches, across from pit to pit, flat across the waist and double both of these measurements.  Our length measurements are mostly taken from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem.
